… addresses general how to’s, proof of concept and real world scenario discussions as well as a couple of agenda notes around the Oracle Database, mostly 10gR2 and 11gRx this time, and Oracle Linux / Enterprise Manager.
I am a senior oracle database / infrastructure administrator, pl/sql-developer, schema-designer, sql-optimizer, tar-poet, data-janitor etc. as well as a technical project head in several development ventures.
End customers of my work encompass renowned press media companies throughout europe, running larger databases to store their digital pre- and post production contents.
Lately I headed some industrial research stuff around media semantics and enterprise search along with local universities.
I’m holding the Oracle 10g OCA and OCP and the Oracle 11g OCP certificates.
